Pronunciation
English is the only language I know. With that said, I have to say that verbal language is very imprecise. I get so tired of hearing people pronounce the same words 5 different ways. I know that it has to do with how they were taught, the part of the world where they learned to speak, etc. Why can’t everyone pronounce words the same? Maybe a better question is “Why does this bother me?”
Not everyone hears the same things also. The various pronunciations of words that I am able to pick up on may all sound the same to someone else. Can someone explain this to me?

Change Your Job Strategy
Are you in the market for a job? A lot of people are these days. A lot of people are staying on the market for quite a long time. It can sometimes take months and years to find a job in the economy. One of the tools out there that I have always promoted has been LinkedIn. I have a LinkedIn profile and I connect to as many people as I can. The reason for this is because I might be able to connect to someone that can help me in my business, through another connection. The flip side is also true, as I can forward contact requests on. With so many people looking for a job, one might want to go from job search to relationship search…at least on LinkedIn. Check out this article entitled Stop Looking For A Job. Start Looking To Meet People. It gives valuable information on the ways one might use LinkedIn to forge those new relationships.

2008 Comes To A Close
Since it is the last day of the year, I just wanted to thank all of my readers for following my blog faithfully for the past year. At times, I have gotten to the place where I did not know what to say or I did not want to say anything…but you continued to follow me.
In 2009, I have decided to make my online presence larger. My ultimate goal is to work 100% online and not have to go to an employer’s location 9-5 M-F. I feel that I am on the right path towards this goal, and with your help, I can make it.
With the economy the way it is, these words may be worthless, but I hope you had a great 2008 and I hope your 2009 is even better. If you ask my opinion, I think the economy has reached the bottom of the curve and things are turning around.
If you want to follow me even more, my exploits and spoutings can be found on Twitter, by email, on Facebook, or on LinkedIn. I can also be found on digg and can be reached by paper cup and string.
Happy New Year
